State Sets in 3ds Max 2012

In this tutorial of 3D studio max you learn about new service system pass for rendering purpose called state sets. It allows you to create composite rendering layer in 3d s max. When you render you scene using this system, it come in front like a composite shape. The state sets are located in render menu drop down list. When you click on that, it appears in a mini dialog box. It offers you couple of different things fro the best recovery of your scene. The first and foremost thing here is stats which allow us to manage the setting of your scene. The rest of layers are connected here with hierarchy setting. In object layer, you can read about different items using in your scene setting e.g. camera and lights etc. The object or render element can be controlled by switching then “ON” and “OFF”. Using these switches, you can set the visibility of your scene. When you open this dialog box, all the setting is just with default setting. It is up to you how and when you use these elements in your project. The compositor in rendering process works like a radio system and all the manual setting is located in the bottom side. It’s a little bit bore subjects in rendering but with just little extra attention, you can get control and learn it well. Moreover video tutorial is linked with the content so that you could learn this concept visually.
